Gratitude Challenge

Can you believe it is almost November already. I am excited for a somewhat slower month ahead. I maybe ready for all things Christmas but November is still the month for Thanksgivings, being thankful, and showing gratitude. Every year during November I try to show more gratitude and share it. Last month I started as part of the 90 Day Challenge that Rachel Hollis is hosting, I have been writing down three things I am grateful for every morning.

I have seen a difference in myself when I am focusing on the positive things in my life and remind myself that even when life is challenging, good things are still happening around me.

Did you know that when you develop an attitude of gratitude you experience a happier way of life and research shows people who practice gratitude consistently benefit from:
  • Stronger immune systems and lower blood pressure;
  • Higher levels of positive emotions;
  • More joy, optimism, and happiness;
  • Acting with more generosity and compassion;
  • Feeling less lonely and isolated.
Why don't we all do it more?

I notice I am in a better mood, I enjoy the little moments more, and I am more positive when I take the time each day to be grateful before the crazy rush of the day begins. You can also do this at night, take a look back of all the good things that happened during the day instead of everything that didn't go the way you planned.

I thought I would share a FREE printable that I made to help us all think about all of the things we have to be grateful for each day. I have made two version for this gratitude challenge, a weekly and monthly planner.

  1. For some reason I have a hard time coming up with things to be grateful for each day!

    1. Take a look at the little things, your kids helping with something, your day going smoothly, your husband being extra loving, you get a good nights sleep. It doesn't have to be something huge.
